if thats including the injectors for the GIAC 1+ then yes thats a very good price...i dont think the injectors are included in that price though. As for the exhaust that price seems to be normal.

Yeah I dont think thats with Injectors, Injectors run at $150 each so you are looking at $600 for injectors if you shop around though you can get them for about $400

If considering the APR fully loaded chip, be sure to ask about the $249 Anti Theft feature. During some Waterfest sales APR includes it and sometimes they don't. Try to get it included as part of the sale deal if you can.

The APR waterfest sale just started I think.
I think it's currently the top item of their "news" on APR - Engineered Performance for Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche Vehicles

edit: oh hey... look there's a first page, too!

Default Coil pack replaced still no ignition

Alright, heres how it started. On the way home from work I had to fill up. After filling up the car was underpowered and shaking. Managed to limp home about a kilometer. Once home I checked the coil packs and well #2 cyclinder was not igniting. I found this out by pulling each coil pack while the engine was running, removing coil packs 1, 3, and 4 would make the car run very rough. Although removeing pack 2 resulted in no change. So i just replaced the #2 pack with a brand new one and cyclinder #2 is still not firing. I have replaced the spark plug and tried swaping out the neck that connects the pack to the spark plug. I'm not sure what to check next? wire harness? distributer if audi's have one lol. Any help would be apretiated thanx.

Default Engine light with code

My engine light has been going on and off for the last 6 months or so. I have a small diagnostic tool, and every time I've checked why the light is on, it's given me the code like PC104 or something (I'll check and give the definite code). I check the code in my trusty D.I.Y. Audi book, and it says there's something wrong with an air filter. Now, if it was the normal mass air filter, I could change it or clean it. This air filter is located in the bottom front left, if you were facing the engine.

The book shows where it is, but doesn't give detailed instructions on how to change it. It seems to be affected in warm weather. In cold/wet weather, the engine light doesn't come on, generally.

I'll get the definite code and meaning, but hopefully some of you know what I'm talking about. Thanks!

Default which K&N 57i for 99.5 1.8T

This may be a stupid question but I am a little confused and I don't want to buy the wrong thing. On the K&N site (knfilters.com) there are two 57i intake systems available for the 99.5 a4 quattro 1.8T. One is more expensive than the other and they have the same description except on says exc. turbo, does that mean 1.8 L except turbo model? The two model numbers are 57-0282 and 57-0514. Does anyone know which one fits my car or what the difference is between these two? thanks

Talking Ipod + Car care

Got my '08 Avant last week , sweet car, really nice to drive. I have a couple of questions that I'm sure have been answered befor but I can't find a straight answer:

1) Ipod - This car came with the Symphony audio, no nav and it does not have the Ipod Audio Package. I've been reading a lot of forums, sites etc. and I'm really dissapointed that a car of this price does not have a seamless integration with an mp3 player, although I know the answer I'll ask. Is there an "easy" way to plug my ipod through the 3.5mm headphone with adapter or having to take out the radio?

2) Car care - Hpefully this will be my Audi for a loooong time so to take really good care what are your opinion regarding waxes, leather cleaning/conditioners and plastic protectant, I would be looking for something not as shinny as Armor All. And what is your preffered product for outside plastic, front grill, mud flaps, tires, etc.

3) 3M - The car has 3M on the hood and some other places but not in the front fascia and I think I need to put it before getting more bugs and tar or worse a chip or dent. Any recommendations to get it in Calgary?

Thanks for your comments. Greatly Appreciated
Bruno

p.s later I'll post a better pic
