Thanks....good to get some objective opinions and I have always liked Audi....I may look into it sooner rather than later as I here the '09's that are coming will be larger then the current ones.

Default Re: Seeking US dealers willing to sell to Canadians..

Just bought mine from J&S Autohaus in Ewing, New Jersey. Look them up and check out their website. The cars are reasonably priced and they have a ton of luxury cars to choose from (Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, BMW). Good luck!

Default A4 Aftermarket Bluetooth Install

I have a 2007 A4 - looking for a good aftermarket installer in the GTA for bluetooth. Audi dealer quoted me a ridiculous cost and I imagine their fee is too high. Can anybody recommend another RELIABLE source?

Default Audi a4 OBD2 Ebay usb cable HELP!!!

I recently bought a obd2 16 pin usb cable from ebay for $20. I then installed the drivers and all vag com 409.1 twin usb version. everything was going well. vag com confirmed that the cable was there with a simple test while plugged into the car. I then selected the engine control and 20seconds later "No response from controller" pops up. I tried everything, uninstall everything, reinstall, tried the older version of vag com, ect. I made sure to follow all the steps including the selection of an unused com port which was 2 in my case. Some how vag com recognizes a cable plugged, tries to scan the selected control but that no response from controller always seems to be coming back. Plz help guys...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

try and older version of the vagcom, i think i'm using 407.11 or something 403, it works flawlessly with my ebay adapter, read all errorcodes etc. i wouldnt try reprogramming anything, just to diagnose.

Any trouble lights? On mine, the ABS and Brake lights were on caused by a bad ABS controller. That also caused the reader not to see any controller on the bus. Once I unplugged the ABS controller, the other controllers could be read. After repair of the ABS controller and re-installed, everything worked perfectly.

i tried an older version 311.2 or something like that, still the same ****. My car also has the break light and an F sign on the dash which means the abs module is busted. if that peace of **** abs module is causing it to not find any response from controller im going to go crazy cuz i dont have $300 or more dollars to repair the module. If there is anyway anyone could physicaly help me id greatly appreciate it. i live in markham, and require some help.
