Default Allignment

Hi
After a crazy winter its time to have alignments done now. My car is still under warranty, and Audi dealer is asking for 200$ and booking a day 3 weeks from now.

Should I go to Speedy or Frisby Tires for an alignment?

Ottawa right ? For what its worth, I just had mine done at Bruno's Automotive on Merivale (just south of Hunt Club). I found them very professional and the cost was $110.

I recall having my B6 A4 done "no charge" the first time at MM ...

Cheers !

Default Which A4 1.8T or 2.8

Hi All,
I want to buy a used A4 Quattro in the range of $5000 - $6000 from US but not sure which engine is the better choice, 1.8T or 2.8.
Please advise,

1.8t if you are planning on modding.. 2.8 other wise...

also, note that 2.8 is consider more 'luxury' such as electric sits, wood trim, etc.. try to get 2001 and above if you can

good luck on your search

Having owned both the 1.8 and 2.8, I'd say definitely go with the 1.8. You wont get power seats or leather; however, you'll get a much better handling car (2.8 is heavy in the front end) and with a chip, the 1.8 will be quicker and still provide better gas mileage.
