Default Re: ESP Lights keeps going off

Could be a bunch of things. However on my 05 A4 I had this problem for a few months. One day I noticed that my brakes lights were still lit even though I was walking away from my car. Turned out the switch in the break pedal was faulty. Once this was fixed my ESP light problems went away.

Default Replacing rear Rotors - 245mm or 255mm?

Hey there, Im new to the forum....Im replacing the rear rotors on my 02 a4 quattro 1.8T.....in looking for rotors for my car Im getting two options:
245mm and 255mm.

Which size am I after? Each website I'm looking at gives me the option to purchase either size even when I put in my year and model specifics.

Thanks in advance.

Default Help with winter RIM fitting

Ive been looking into getting some used rims and rubber for the winter, since i have summer tires and the tread is kinda low for driving in snow.

I have 205/55/R16 on the car now, its a 98 A4 1.8T

Now i have found a set of winter tires on Mercedes Rims. Same 205/55/R16.

The bolt pattern is the same (5x112), but the lug nuts and center bore are different.

A4: Lug nuts 14mmx1.5b, Center Bore 57.1
Mec: Lug nuts 12mmx1.5b, Center Bore 66.?

Im not 100% sure about the offsets though.

My question is can i still use these rims on my A4? Or does everything have to be the same?

Please Help!

You'll need hub rings to help avoid potential vibration due to larger centre bore. Obviously offset is important and lug bolts need to be "long enough". Sounds like you should ski and keep looking ...
