Thank you they clean up nicely! I'm happy with the setup for snow and ice driveability (over 90cm of snow during holidays, then rain and deep freeze/ice last few days) but find the switch to 19" for winter is esthetically a big step down from my summer 21". If guys like yourself report that the winter handling with 20" is great it may be worth considering 20" instead of 19" in the future.

Thanks for the info.

I will touch base with my dealer and see if they have any SQ5's coming in with the 21's.
Check these bad boys out - being sold by RPI Equipped in Richmond. I believe they pulled these off their 2014 Q5 TDI project car.

Caractere CW1, 21x9.5 et25 (w/adapters) Wrapped in Dunlop Sportmax 265/40/R21 tires. $4500.00

Only $4500? For used rims? How much are they new?

No idea. I think Warren (RPI's owner) took them off his 2014 Q5 TDI that has a full Caractere body kit. I suspect those tires alone would be $500/each brand new.

2) 20" Avant Garde M310 in either dolphin or matte black

3) 19" Avant Garde M590 in either dolphin or matte black

I like the HRE flow forms, but not worth the $$ for a winter set up. Gonna probably run pirelli scorpion winters.

Any advice on the above?
Hey Droozy... I looked at (more like obsessed over) the same 20" winter wheel options. One thing I learned is that with the gunmetal V710s you have to have the centerbores remilled to 66.6 mm. Pyspeed in California does this for a nominal fee and the fitment was perfect. You also need to purchase R13 30mm ball seat wheel studs for all of the VMR wheels (OEM is R14). I went with the Scorpions and I like them; good handling, quiet and they seem to have good availability in case you happen to damage one.
