I thought I saw the 20" on an S4 last weekend. I saw the stock rims in person last night. They're not so bad for winter rims.

Achtuning has tested fitment of the Hartmann wheels on the SQ5 and this is what they have concluded:

"Currently available sizes range from 18″ to 20″. ( Most 18″ Hartmann Wheel options will require spacers for caliper clearance, also available at Achtuning.) Our preferred Hartmann Wheel spec for Audi SQ5 fitment are the 19×8.5 +25 and 20×9 +25 options for an “aggressive” Euro look. The 19×8.5 +38s will sit 5mm further in compared to the factory 20 or 21″ wheels – a good option for winter wheel fitment!"

I just pulled the trigger on some 20x9 +25 Hartmann HRS6-204-GS rims for my winter set up. Looking at either the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 or LM-60 for rubber. I went this route because the 20" triple-split 5-spoker looks pretty good on the Q5 and I wanted to preserve the OEM look of the vehicle. I ordered them through Essex in BC and should be receiving them tomorrow. My SQ5 doesn't come until the new year, but I want to be ready for its arrival well in advance.

Nice wheels.

I had my 19" Hartmann's installed this past Friday and the fit is excellent.

Good stuff. What did you do for lug nuts? I saw the Hartmann site now claims their wheels require new lugs for fitment on the SQ5.

I just confirmed with Essex that new lug bolts are required for proper fitment on the SQ5.

They are apparently sending out the lug bolts to all customers who had previously purchased Hartmann wheels specifically for the SQ5.

Yeah, I contacted them as well. I was just wading through a new thread about the owner who had an issue with misfitting lug bolts. I'm assuming the lug bolts Essex is sending out are either longer or shorter than the OEM versions?

Where did you locate the thread about the misfitting lug bolts?

I would be interested to have a read of it.

I went with the LM-60 Blizzaks. They were recommended to my by ECUprogram in Calgary for my 335xi and they were great in the snow. I'm hoping for the same thing on the SQ5.

All four tires were able to fit in the back which was nice.
