I got my VIN early last week.
Date has not changed since I ordered.

 

Just got an updated delivery of last week of December....pathetic. This car better be worth the wait.

Now i'm confused though. i'm trying to decide between lava greay and quartz grey.

May ask why you like lava rather than quartz?

 

My initial choice straight off the bat was LAva Grey, it seemed like the best color for this vehicle, it sparkled in the light and had an array of colors in the paint- sophisticated and mysterious. It hides the dust well and offers the richness of a dark color.

I was also a bit torn between Lava grey and Quartz Grey for a short while after ordering Lava, then all my doubts were set to rest, especially after i took a little survey amongst my friends and they all confirmed LAva grey was the way to go. I just picked up my LAva Grey S-line last week and it is just such a magnificent color. Everybody comments on the color. I have zero regrets, in fact i am thrilled with it.

 

I love the way lava gray looks under sun. It's gorgeous. My q5 is black. My only regret not getting lava gray.
