ander81, which dealer did you use? and how do you know it's to be built week of Nov 1? Did your dealer provide that information?

 

The waiting time for the Q5 is painful. Hope you do enjoy once it arrives. Huge demand for this vehicle. I have a black 2010 Q5 Premium Plus with Nav. Love it! Thinking of selling and getting an S Line version that's how much I love it! Anyone want to buy a Q5?

 

I ordered from Audi of Mississauga, and I have received an email from Alex, my sales rep with the info regarding build date and the delayed delivery.

 

I have ordered about same time as you, and I'm still scheduled end of November. But from what I see - it may likely be delayed.... I really hope it won't happen. If I knew availability is going to change to 4+ months, I would orders month sooner. I was hoping to get it after
2.5m as it was the case sooner this year, but now it's like 4.5............

Is it a common practice to get an email with the delivery dates as I haven't been told of this by my sales rep until now that I will get a email . Its now one month to date that I have ordered and until now have no clue whats the status is.
Anders , after how many days of ordering did you get the email from Alex? I will then follow up with my sales rep if its overdue.
Atleast having a date is better than just being in dark I suppose.

Luv my Q5 but I did send Audi Canada a not so glowing review on the delivery of my vehicle after we picked it up- it was a brutal wait and what peeved me more was being in the dark about the delivery! Something they can improve on for sure!

 

I guess it is. My dealer told me that as soon as he gets VIN#, he'll let me know. So no VIN means no car in production yet..... I regularly try to get some update on my Audi, so far I got confirmation that I'm still on schedule for delivery.....But that may change fast....

 

So do I try to get any updates ..have been told of a date to be specified by this weekend ..dont know whether I will get one... today completed one month of wait ... another 2? 3? 4? months to wait ..GOD knows!!!!

 

Your patience will pay off in a BIG way.

 

I ordered my Q5 mid July and after a few calls, I finally got an updated delivery of mid Dec. They originally told me mid Oct so I was really bummed out. I'm hoping for a good christmas
