Question New tires

I have AUDI B6 with General Exclaim UHP 225/40/18 tires.
They're already done so i have to replace them.
I'm just thinking about Marangoni Mythos, Kumho SPT or Falken 452.
Any suggestions? Maybe diffrent tires?

Thx, Matt

Default Bang & Olufsen Car Audio problem.

I bought my 2009 A4 on October 1st. So I've only had it for a couple of months. I went away for work for 4 days during this recent cold spell that all of Ontario was under.
I came back started my car and turned on my radio. It sounds like my subwoofer has blown. I figured it was due to the cold and snow on the car, but i let it warm up and completely cleaned the car from the snow and ice and still the same issue. The weather shouldn't have any impact on car audio performance.

Has any body else experienced this? Nobody drove my car in between.
I have yet to speak to the dealer.

Default Question: Central system wont "De-safe" - Unlock button fails!

Ross Tech software found the following codes on my car:

00532 - Supply Voltage B+ (Supply voltage too low/too high) - Intermittant
00532 - Ross-Tech Wiki

01581 - Drivers Door; 59-00 Can't Unlock / 60-00 Won't save
01559 - Ross-Tech Wiki
01560 - Passenger Door: Won't De-Safe
01560 - Ross-Tech Wiki
01561 - Rear Left Door: Can't Unlock
01561 - Ross-Tech Wiki
01562 - Rear Right Door: Can't Unlock
01562 - Ross-Tech Wiki

I -can- lock and unlock with the key fob just fine. I can also LOCK from inside the car (door switch) just fine. However, when I press UNLOCK, it doesn't work. It clicks, but nothing happens.

Judging from the fact that it happens to ALL the doors, and that the key fob DOES work for unlock and lock, there is nothing wrong with the wiring or mechanical connections in the doors.

In the Ross Tech diagnostic printoff, it also says Won't de-Safe next too all the 4 errors above.

Someone with some experience... any ideas?

thanks!
Andrew

Default Ideal shifting point on 6spd manual

Hi guys

I've been driving 5spd cars for ...um ever i guess

I recently picked up an used 2004 audi a4 6spd manual

I get really good gas mileage I've seen over 800 km per tank (niagara to Toronto and Hamilton to Toronto), and little over 650 on city + highway.

Thing is, I would like to know where to shift to get better accerelation and gas mileage.

I shift around 1800~2300 Mostly 2000! rpm

let me know what you think

Default oil Pressure lights On

My 2004 A4 have the oil pressure lights on, and I have no idea so I drove to dealer and see whats going on!! After couple of hours, they told me that the PCV tube ware down and have to change all the tubes and also the breathing hole!! I really have no idea what is this all about because I don't really have knowledge about cars, and dealer telling me fixing this tubes and breathing holes would cost me around 3000 dollars, so I am wonder do anyone have this problems before? Also, I would like to know if anyone know there is good audi mechanic in Vancouver that I can take my car to them and take a look?

Thanks
