Thanks for the info drfe99! I actually heard back from our dealer this week, & he received confirmation from Audi AG that things are good & vehicle is due to to complete build by early next week. He also said he would pressure Audi Canada to offer something in compensation...not expecting too much, but it'd be great to maybe get a discount on Audi Care. Glad to hear you're loving your new SQ5. I'm in a 2015 Technik SQ5 currently (which I love), but looking forward to the new one!

Congrats on your purchase, the SQ5 will be amazing.
For us, the updates came from our respective dealer reps, and we shared what we heard to keep everyone up to speed.

Great looking cars wizzofoz & drfe99. Do you guys have the Technik model with the Band & Olufsen audio? My current SQ5 has B&O & sounds great, but I hear the new system is significantly better. Any comments on the audio?

I have the Bose in my A6 and its amazing. I haven't had a chance to drive the Q5 since last weekend due to a work trip. Will definitely test out the audio over the weekend and will report back. It should be pretty awesome from the reviews.

Not sure if anyone knows the timeline for Q5 production? April 23rd(ish) +Production timeline + time to ship from Mexico to Ontario = I just assumed it's more than 4 weeks, which is what it would take to get here for May. Hoping my assumptions are wrong, as I would like to get in May vs June... or late June

I had the old B&O and also have the new B&O. Like everything else with the new Q5, it's night and day to compare. The new one is far superior and I really enjoyed the old B&O. I feel like I work for Audi when I talk about the Q, but it is a truly impressive SUV. Too bad they are screwing up marketing opportunities and delivery.

The side mirrors folding still exists and you can find the option under Vehicle Settings, than Central Locks. It is an option under the central locks.

Much of the info came from this forum and the U.S. one. Once I had the information I hounded my dealer and they had to address. Actually they were pretty good with it and shared some of responses from Audi. Incredible.
As for the car I had the exact same concerns as you and all I can say is based on the last two weeks of driving the new Q5, I'm not worried about the lemon concerns. I know its early but this Q5, is far superior to the last one I had.
Overall, Audi has blown the manufacturing and delivery of their Q5s. I know people that will not consider the Q because of the delay. It's a same because it is a great SUV.

What I like:
-very smooth
-very quiet
-very fast (great pick-up)
-great tech (love the virtual dash)
-gorgeous at night... interior lights up like a xmas tree
Things i don't love:
-auto engine shut-off (default is on fuel economy)
-we don't get google earth... big letdown as I didn't know this was not avail in Canada till I got the car...
-heated/chilled cup holder only controls temp on 1 side... drivers side is just basic cup holder????
Overall.... love driving this car.
