Audi Care or discounted delivery would def be nice.

 

Zune - just called and got an update from dealer. My car finished production 3 days ago and delivery due by Aug 19.

 

Dealers are not offering up much for compensation. I got winter mats, good discount on Audi aftercare. They weren't will to do much else. Audi Canada wasn't willing to address. From what I can asses from the various forums, Audi has screwed this up and are dealing with delays throughout North America.

That's great news audiguz. Maybe they're starting to get caught up on the backlog of orders they'd built up in the spring. I think mine was due to finish build about a week ago, so maybe we'll each receive ours around the same time!

 

BTW Audiguz...is yours a Q5 or an SQ5? I still don't have accurate info as to whether my vehicle has even been built yet, & ordered in late February. Thanks!

 

Ordered my Q5 on April 11, apparently its built and about to be shipped. Is that another month?

 

Hey Zune, it is a Q5. The dealer did mention that someone who had ordered just before me still hadn't had their vehicle built due to a part shortage, maybe this was an SQ5?

Roadkilt - that's what it sounds like. I assume yours will be delivery by mid August as well.

 

Thanks audiguz! Looks like I'm looking at mid-August delivery too now (according to our dealer). Mine is a Navarra blue SQ5 with the air suspension & the sport differential...he explained that the delays have been in one of those three (colour/suspension/differential). No worries...I still have my current SQ5 for now.

Dealer said delivery "around" mi-august.

From my personal searches:

Shipping vessel is expected to be the "Columbia Highway"
(as per week 27 VW import schedule)
ETA halifax Port August 7th.

However, on VW import schedule from week 29, the stop in Halifax is no longer there which gets me worried about delays.

Is it going to be shipped by train/truck instead of RoRo ship? I have no idea.

Ordered may 11th 2017, montreal.

Wow, good sleuthing on that. I would have thought NA product goes by rail then truck, and international goes by sea. How do you know what build week and ship it is? Is there a website for VW/Audi?
