    Thanks for asking. They replaced the transmission... it took 3 weeks to arrive from Germany. The car drives flawlessly now. I had opened a case with Audi corporate and they ended up offering to offset the lease payments for 7 weeks (that I didnt have the car) and also reimbursed the cost of Audi care. I am happy to get the car back but hope there are no more issues. Thanks for asking

    Thanks.. its amazing!!!! I didn't like the red on the GLC or the Gen 1 Q5. This one is simply stunning.

    Awesome. I will go in to see the Sales Manager of my dealership most likely on Tuesday. I have been pushing for Lease Protection warranty (1100 value). Hope that I can get that in addition to the discount on the audi care. Congrats and safe driving.

    Hey wiz, picked up the new Q5 today. Posting pics on 2018 thread. I was able to get the rubber mats an $500 off extended care. Hope you did better!

    Thanks. I will try to push for as much as possible. After all, they forced a 2 month delay on us for things that were totally in their control.

    Wiz, just to let you know. Not getting much from Audi on compensation. They through in the rubber mats / cargo liner (a$325 value) and they don't seem to be willing to move on any thing else. Not finished yet but no encouraging.

    Thanks for letting me know. I finally got a hold of the Sales Manager and he is asking me to hold off on the compensation discussion until the car is at the dealership. He has no idea when it will be there. I will definitely push for anything that I can get to protect the investment. Thanks for letting me know.

    Wiz, I don't know if you went to your dealer yet, if you have let me know how it went. I advise my dealer that I was looking for compensation for the inconvenience and my concern with the quality of a new model / new manufacturing factory. I wan then to do something for me on the Audi After Care, the rubber car mats / Cargo liner and the 3M Stone Guard. I will let you know how they respond on Monday.
    I would also appreciate if you could let me know if you were able to get any compensation from them due to the problems we experienced.
