Gotta say I had that same experience with one of the sales guys there. I should have put this in my fist review but I was thinking parts and service wise as opposed to sales. On the sales side this ONE sales guy treated me like trash.

I too walked in wearing a winter jacket and jeans. Instead of showing me the car I was interested in, he wanted to go over my credit history. I'm not a test pilot and although this may have been what he was thinking he was very rude. This is why I would NEVER buy a new Audi... I would gladly buy a year old car over having to deal with all the bullshit of dealing with a new car salesman. Especially when it comes to Audi.

I'm shopping for an Audi in Saskatchewan. I'm hard pressed to find any info on the Saskatoon dealership and have heard one good report on the Regina dealer. I'd really like some reports of these dealerships if possible.

I've been to the new Downtown Audi dealership. Let's just say, great venue, but very poor customer service. I'll not be going back.

Looks like Phaff might be the best alternative, but it's a bit far for me. Queensway is closer, but sounds like it's hit or miss.

DEALER NAME
Mark Motors of Ottawa (Hunt Club Location)

CONTACT INFO
West Hunt Club Road
Nepean, ON K2E 1A6
(613) 723-1221

WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AND WHEN DID YOU HAVE IT
Bought a 2011 Audi A4 30th Anniversary of Quattro Edition

WERE YOU HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE YOU RECEIVED?
Yes. I dealt exclusively with Ruvin Gellar, one of the brand specialists. I visited the dealership three times:

On the first occasion, he introduced himself and walked me through vehicles. As a 25 year old, he treated me with respect and took time to deal with me. This was in stark contrast to Otto's BMW who wouldn't even send a sales person on the floor to chat. I knew what I was looking for, but we chatted about 2011 model year changes and older vehicles like the 2007 RS4.

On the second occasion, I returned to test drive an A4 with a friend. Again, he was polite and took us out on a busy Saturday.

Finally, we chatted via email over the course of a week. He suggested the 30th Anniversary of Quattro A4 that arrived on the lot the previous day. While he was firm on pricing for the limited production car, I felt he was genuine and purchased the vehicle.

WOULD YOU GO THERE AGAIN?
Yes. As a young buyer I was treated with respect. That tops anything else.

Guys I hate. To say this but let's get one thing clear....

THIS IS NOT A BITCHING THREAD!!!!

The purpose of this thread is to give a structured review about a dealership so that it can register cleanly in a search. That's why I gave it the template that adammcnamara used. This template allows someone to quickly find and extract the info he or she needs about a persons experience to make their decision wisely

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PERSONAL COMMENTS TO THE THREAD.

Why would you ask people "WERE YOU HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE YOU RECEIVED?" and then not allow them to put in personal comments?? Dosen't make sense to me, are you looking for simple Yes or No answer without any personal opinion?

Of course people can put in their own personal experience under THAT heading. The goal here is to make it all point form so it's easy to read instead of having to sift through countless paragraphs.

The "bitching session" part is about people replying saying things like "Man i can't beleive that happened to you, did you get it all worked out? Yeah that happenned to me a few months ago.....".

The reason I want people to follow the Template is so that if you need to find a quick and informative review, you can do so in this sticky. What's more is you can find the answers quicker. When I asked the admin to make it a sticky he said he'd throw in all the other posts about dealerships but it kinda ruins the whole purpose of the thread to be honest. Now my post is lost in a myriad of "bitching sessions" and the template is lost.

I'm not whining about it, it's better than nothing but the way this thread now looks kinda depeats the purpose of it.

I have to agree with both of your comments. I can see the benefit of having a dedicated thread with structure that is clear and to the point. However, one person may have a negative experience with a certain dealer and another may have a very positive one. My fear is when a negative post is posted on the structured thread it may get taken the wrong way since the opinion is subjective not objective. There should be room for comment on a structured post by those who may have a different experience with that particular dealer.

I am open to suggestions on cleaning this up but keep in mind that although this is and always should be an open forum we want to be accurate and fair. Again I fear that if someone got spoken to wrongly he may choose to bash the dealership because of ego rather than being truthful.

I hope you get my point and as mentioned give me some suggestions on cleaning this up.

Hey Pablo,

Yes, buddy I hear ya and I agree. Post should be about the dealers only and any dealer comments should be in those posts. Great thread all the best to you buddy!
