There should be room for comment on a structured post by those who may have a different experience with that particular dealer.

I am open to suggestions on cleaning this up but keep in mind that although this is and always should be an open forum we want to be accurate and fair. Again I fear that if someone got spoken to wrongly he may choose to bash the dealership because of ego rather than being truthful.

I hope you get my point and as mentioned give me some suggestions on cleaning this up.

Hey Mike I have the perfect suggestion for you. Make it a separate section in the forums with the sticky about how to post properly... If you want I'll write it up for you. This way people can enter the title as "Mark Motors West Huntclub" for example.

Let's say I want to write a review. I would go to the section called Canadian Dealership Reviews and submit my review as a seperate thread using the template. This way others can chime in with their own personal opinions within that specific thread. To me it sounds like the perfect solution because it adresses both our concerns. What do you think Mike?

I bought my first A4 from them in March and it came with a extended warranty and was supposed to have the 300 point inspection done.

When I got my car the lighter never worked, the headlight was shaking, the gas tank door wouldn't pop out and just recently found out by my mechanic friend at BMW that the lower control arm bushings were dried out and cracked.

I took the car in and asked them to fix this stuff and to do a proper 300 point inspection. When I got the car back my BF was looking at the inspection list they gave me and noticed a lot of little things that made him believe they never did the inspection. Im sure you all know what the sheet looks like and how there is an N/A box for items that are not on my car. They were marking OK on stuff that wasn't on my car and saying OK for things that were not repaired.

Everything I took my car in for were untouched but listed that they meet Audi Standards. I'm sorry but cracked bushings, lighter not working, shaky headlight, AC filter smelt like pee are not up to par as far as Audi Canada is concerned.

Also on the sheet the manager never signed off on it and it simply looked as if the mechanic went down the list and checked them all off without looking at the car.

So I called and made a stink and sent an email to the owners of the dealership as well as the general manager telling them how unhappy I am with the service I am getting. I work part time at BMW and the option to get a BMW was there for a better price then what I am paying now. But I chose the Audi because of the customer service I thought I would be getting.

I gave them a second chance to fix the car and when I got it back again this stuff is still not fixed. The AC still smells like pee, the bushings are still cracked, the gas door doesn't pop open and I still have to use my finger nails to open it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I deal with this issue? How effective would it be to contact Audi Canada? I love my car...It's pretty and I don't want to get rid of it because of a bad experience with one dealership. But if things don't get better I will have no choice but to take legal action I think.

my bf keeps telling me I should have bought a BMW since he is bias and I am starting to agree with him.
Above is Michelle's story w/ Markham Audi's service department, and here's my story w/ Markham Audi's sales department.
I've been shopping around for a new car for a while and finally I settled on the A4. Did all the due diligence and everything came down to which dealership can offer me the best price. I'm a very straight forward person, I go in, I tell the sales person the lowest quote I've got and you work your magic and see what you can do for me, and you're more than welcome to ask me which dealership offered me that price. But first they gave me a price that's impossibly low that all the other dealerships in GTA thought I was lying until I mentioned that I got this quote from the Markham dealership (talk about bad reputation within your own organization), then I went back to double check to see if I could reproduce the same result but this other salesman just upped and left the desk when he couldn't match the price that was previously offered to me by one of his colleagues, customer service = big, fat zero. Oh, and did I mention he was trying to 'confuse' me by doing all sorts of calculations on paper w/ a calculator and deliberately leaving out fees/charges in the calculation? Please, I deal w/ numbers all day at work, let me recalculate that for you right in front of your eyes and guess what? I would've been screwed over by almost $1,000 if I had signed the paper. I've been to all 6 Audi dealerships in GTA several times and the one in Markham is THE WORST with extra crooks with zero customer service skills to spare.

Had great service experience with PFAFF Audi. We encountered a very obscure problem with my suspension. It took a while to figure out, but they were very friendly and reasonable the entire time. Maintained good communication and updated me every step of the way. I felt like I was involved with the whole process.

Look for Stephen Werner (rep) and Dan Nguyen (tech). And beyond that, whenever they're away, any of the other guys were quick to jump right in and take care of me.

well, gotta let you guys know, i bought my car at Audi Of Queensway and they didn't tell me anything about the accident. I went today to Pfaff to trade my car for the new S4 and they found that there. I already called OMVIC and will call the manager to see what he got to say.
By the way, if you are looking for a place to repair or do a service on your audi go to Independent tunning. They are very professional with good price and service.

I've always said, IMO, the best GTA Audi dealerships are Pfaff (Vaughan or Newmarket) and Audi Midtown (formerly Agincourt Autohaus). As for repairs, I've had great success and satisfaction at Pfaff Tuning, at Audi Midtown (except a bit expensive) and at my former Audi mechanic and now independent, Charles Maxwell at Superior Transmission at 7605 Woodbine , unit 10, in Markham. I've also heard good things about Independent but don't think they're conveniently located for me. As for the accident information, Audi Midtown were showing me an immaculate older A8 I was interested in and the salesman immediately told that he needed to inform me that it had been in an accident and was repaired properly in the USA at an accredited Audi repair facility. I didn't buy the car because they wanted too much for it, but the disclosure was immediate and full and without prompting. Gotta like and trust that attitude. I also bought my previous 5000CD Turbo from Agincourt/Midtown and it was a great car for 15 years!

My question may sound stupid to you guys - if I bought audi care from a dealer with the new car, can I go to another dealer for service?

I agree. Audi Uptown is absolute nightmare. Service and the sales are just horrible, pfaff is good, avoid audi uptown if you can.

I am posting this, a couple of years after this happened. My lease is up, and have been shopping around for new audi and it brought back the rage.
About 18 months after leasing a new a4, I brought it in for a service at UPTOWN AUDI, WHERE I HAD LEASED FROM. During the visit Andrew in service, advised me that I needed a complete brake job, $1200.00, as I was running on 15% of pads. I thought this would be unlikely, as the car only had appr.30 000km.
He procceded to ask me when audi calls to ask if my visit was satisfactory, I should answer EXCELLENT as opposed to good, as there is a difference in their evaluation. Whatever!!
I declined the brake job, and a few months later was changing oil at Green and Ross, and asked the mechanic to check brakes, as I was worried.
He advised me that I still had appr 70% left on my pads. Brakes were fine.
I lost it!!
Called that scumbag back, and procceded to rip him a new one.
I spoke to the manager at the time, and all told there was nothing done.
The point of this is, that if a dealer is willing to accept this behaviour, it shows the character of its operation.
I did call audi canada, but never received any call back. This was outright attempted fraud!! the response from audi canada was very disappointing.
I only hope that people read this, and when servicing their car there, ( God only knows why) would be more aware of the racket there.
After final inspection before returning car, there was nothing need to be done.
Brakes are still around 20%.
Will still get another audi, as I love the product. Wife just got a new Q7, and hope that dealership gets whats coming to them.
They have lost a lifelong audi customer who replaces 2 cars every 3-4 years.
Working our way to S8!!
Please be aware of this dealer, as there is nothing management or audi canada will do for you.
To treat customers in this manner, is what is wrong with dealers today. Customers will not just accept the word of some flunky, (yes I am talking to you ANDREW).
