---Update---

Totally forgot about this post and this forum (Heavy Audizine User) so this is a delayed update

So a couple weeks after bringing home the car after the last incident the bearing noise became horribly loud. I was really pissed that I wasted my time bringing in the car, setting up an appointment, having to time it with my parents schedule (I'm under 25, so I don't qualify for a car rental loaner), the service department and obviously my schedule as well. So I called back Uptown, set up an appointment with Andrew and went back.

We spoke over the phone about the situation, and I told him it would be hard to once again try and set up an appointment with everyone. He promised me an Audi Loaner which wouldn't require me to go through the rental company, so I would not need my parents. I really appreciated that he tried to work with me as I have a really busy schedule. The day comes, I drop off my car, they diagnose bad bearing and replace it under warranty. It was honestly smooth as a whistle, I just wish it was done the first time. Going to extreme measures here but imagine if my wheel blew off on the highway

Anyways, Andrew was very helpful and it totally changed my perception of Uptowns Service dept. We had a long conversation and he answered the many questions that I had. I'm an enthusiast, so I had a ton of questions about almost everything. The time came when my car hit 70K Km's, bonus was my service was being covered as the previous owner already paid for it. I was honestly thinking about going to PFAFF for my service but I was very pleased with how Uptown took care of me after that first incident. I gave the service dept a shout again and they set me up with Andrew. Once again I dropped it off and they gave me a Q3 loaner (I've always wanted to see how these things drove). Near the end of the day Andrew called me and told me my car was ready to pick up, and said it was no rush and to enjoy the rest of the day with the loaner but remember to come in before the service dept closed. Amazing service, no rush, and very easy process.

A bulb/led just went out on my third brake light and members of our Audi group told me it would be covered under warranty. I already know who I'm going to call for the service, as well as my 90 or 100K service which is sadly nearing very quickly (I love driving this car).

All in all don't let one bad experience (up to a certain extent) turn you away from any dealership. Advisors are very knowledgeable in their area and most will always give you their honest advice, but if you aren't mechanically inclined always get a second opinion just to make sure they aren't trying to empty your pockets!

If anyone here ever has a question you can follow our Audi group on facebook @ Audi True North. There are a lot of veteran Audi members who have a lot of info to share. Don't forget to follow on Instagram as well! @audi_tn

Kid,

what some sales managers or shop foremen may do is take the car home and back for a few days to "test" it.... In your case the idiot who had it basically took it for his own personal use without your permission. A misaligned headlight requires nothing more than turning on the beams onto a wall to see how well both beams line up. Unless you have adaptive headlights, there is no need to take it on the road. I'll bet you were fuming mad when you found out how much mileage they put on your car.
