Smile Hello all new to the Audi world...

Just picked up a used 2004 A4 the other day. I traded in my cooper s jcw for this ( I needed space) Can you direct me to the best best to get Audi parts online? Not into engine mods but exterior styling.

Default A4 tailight problems

I am having problems with the bulbs in my tailights. Seems I am not getting any power to certain bulb recepticles (tried working bulbs and no light, also checked with multi meter). Anybody else have these problems?

Hey Canuck A4,
I have a set of 17 OEMs from my '02 A4 that I'll sell for a good price. You still looking? I see you are in Ottawa, I'm not too far away...Kingston.

Hi

Do you have a trailer hitch installed with the assosciated wiring? If so, that might be the problem. You could also check the "light control module" ( not sure about the name of that module).

By the way, what year is your A4? Some bulb recepticles don't have any electrical connections.

Thanks for the replies people.
It's an '02, no hitch...and I did check the fuses. It's weird because the same bulb works on the other side. Not sure what bulbs you are reffering to that don't have electrical connections, but now that you mention it there is one bulb on each side that doesn't come on. Unfortunately, they are not the source of the irritating beep and alert in the dash everytime I start my car!

Not sure what the light control module is or where to find it, but I'll see if I can find anything about that.

Thanks again
Rob
