Yes, it's consider a plug and play unit. Here's a good link with the install. It's about 90% the same as in the link.

Default Thinking of buying an A4

Hello

I am thinking of buying a used A4 (2001-2003). I have been a Honda guy and have been through 3 of them with out major problems. I was looking for a new sedan and the Audi's have caught my eye. I have friends with Audi's and they love it.

My concern is maintenance costs. Is there is great different in the cost of parts for Audi. I understand it is abit more expensive, but is there is a HUGH difference.

I appreicate any advice.

2001 is the last year of B5 A4 where the choice of engine is between 1.8T and 2.8, while 2002-2003 is the B6, with a choice between 1.8T and 3.0. If you're after realiability, I think you should look into the V6's; turbo cars are fun for modding, but tend to require more maintenance. Audi parts are not cheap, but you can find parts online that are much cheaper than dealer prices.

Default feeler: I'm seriously considering selling my baby

I want a bigger house and I'm not at the point where I can't have my cake and eat it too so I've been playing with the idea of selling my car. Not too serious yet but just playing with the thought of it...

Thoughts?
