B5/B6 clutch (no flywheel)
doing a wheel bearing change and have run into the issue of the abs sensors not coming out... so new sensors are in order..
Here is the dilema.. there are two different sensors for the audi rear drivers side.. one is with and one is without the headlight leveling sensor...
Question if the headlight sensor is fine why is it necessary to order the extra wiring harness etc..
this is for a 2000 audi a4 quattro 2.8 litre..
In looking it seems that the standard left right rear sensors would work ?? any help would be appreicated... dont want to spend an extra $150.00 on a sensor for an extra price of wire and a tube...
Hopefully somebody has been through this and can give some insight..
Thanks in advance..... FYI the sensor are hard to get out but removing the wiring hrness from the car can save a lot of headache and $$$ and leave the sensor in place..

I got into quite the accident back in January and just got my vehicle back from the body shop.
I've been driving it for roughly 6 days now and there have noticed a sort of thumping sound from the front left tire (the side that the impact is on) when stoping at speeds over 80. I spoke with the shop and will be taking it in tomorrow but they mentioned it could be something as simple as a re-alignment.
Anybody have recommendations for a shop that does this for a fair price? Or should I just drive it over to the dealer?

Hey guys,
I have bought a 1999 audi A4 with a non bose sterio system in it. Yesterday I bought a bose speakers for in my car. I unplugged the speakers from the harness in the other car. I brought the bose speakers home to my car and went to put them in but they have different plugs on the end, so the ends wont connect. I was wondering what i have to do to make my wiring work from my non bose system to make my bose speakers work. Is it a whole different harness from the non bose to the bose?

Hi there, I was looking for a vehicle that handles really well in the snow. Although responses may be biased on this site, is an Audi or BMW better in the snow? Thx.
I purchased the original from my dealer, the gave me a 150$ voucher for Audi product, so I bought the set, their perfect fit, just push and they have a "ratchet grip'" so they hold without any bolt.
Just coming up to a year and no rust.
Good value. I did look at other systems of attachment but this one you cannot steal, like the other one if you unscrew them.

A 150$ Voucher?? How did you do that?? loll
I squeezed so hard for the price i got that I don't think they'll like me if I ask for a voucher!!!

I cannot say for the BMW as I have never driven a recent one, but the latest tech seems really good and similar to the newest quattro generation whit electronic clutch (If I'm not mistaken).
I just love my Quattro this winter!
In my 2 week vacancies, I drove 1600 km. It's so much fun!

I'm going to say Quattro. Audi is an AWD pioneer with rally dominating technology. Although I'm sure the BMW would get you down a snowy road, I think the the fact that Audi has tonnes more experience with AWD gives them an advantage.
Prestige Audi: I was told by a member here it might have been because I did not squeeze them enough, but I was on a PP Plan. So the price was already negotiated, and they still gave me some extra hundred dollar below to get my business. So i think The voucher or gift certificates are also one of their trade mark I would say. On top of that when you go and pick up your car, it is in the showroom and they give you the keys with a bouquet of flowers.
Classy and very professional. It all depend where you buy I guess.
