WHen I check the status its says right rear light. My right rear light and brake light are fine. The warning light happens sporadically so could it be a short?

 

If you have a short the fuse will blow for that particular circuit.

It is either an intermitent "open" on the wire, or a filament inside the bulb which is broken but makes contact on-and-off!

GO FOR THE BULB FIRST as it is the easiest and the cheapest: what you need is a screw-driver and a replacement bulb, confidence and a bit of care and this is a do-it-yourself job!

 

Hi guys,

Its me again. So my 2009 A4 Frontrak has CVT transmission and is multi-tronic, with tiptronic. Now in the manual it says under car settings on the screen I can enable gear shifting indicator, but it doesn't have that in my car... Any ideas when to change gears or how to get it working using tip tronic?

Can you get this front spoiler blade insert thingy in Canada?

What does it look like? The reason I ask is that the front bottom lip of my 2009 A4 2.0 has a small paint chip in it already (5 days old the car is) and its possible due to hitting some curb when parking... I wonder if this front spoiler will look cool and also come in such a way that it will cover my paint chip... I know touch up paint is my friend... but just asking.

Anyone have any experience with cracked exhaust manifold? Im suspecting that could be my A4's problem. Vibration in the 5 to 6000 RPM range and exhaust odor inside the car.

I am taking possession of my new A4 next week and the dealership is offering to sell me a permaplate wax job for 299. It seems that this "permanent" waxing lasts at least 7 years eliminating the need to wax it myself. Does anyone have any experience with this product and is it worth it?
