Re: Gas mileage

your car being the newer model, i think it should get better mileage than this

Re: Gas mileage

i get 480-500 mixed driving, 600-650 highway only (if i put on the cruise and dont push it at all)

i expected alot better mileage out of a 1.8t six speed....

Re: Gas mileage

I get very poor milage because most city driving, roughly 440km's city and I took a 3 hour cruize to another city and then back no problem on one tnak of gas with 600km's so I am guessing I could have gone to 700-750 but within city I get terrible gas milage and I called Audi of Canada because I had a concern that there was something wrong witht he care etc. but they said that it was normal as it is a turbo car and on 60L they expect you to get 400-450 so it is weird on some cars I do a throtle body adjustment and this helps a bit

Re: Gas mileage

I'm getting around 500 per tank of stop-and-go city driving... so yeah, seems like something's got to be wrong there.

Re: Gas mileage

Well, my car is at the stealership right now, and I got them to check it out. They suggested doing a fuel filter change and injector cleaning first.
If it still doesn't work, then they suggested I look into the temp sensor.

I'll let you guys know how it goes after I get my car back and go through my first tank.

If you don't want to dump a mountain of money into the dealer's service department, you might try Blitzkrieg Autowerks near Commercial and Hastings...

I have a 2004 A4 3.0Q and get about 550 combined but I drive conservatively. Sounds crazy but make sure you dont have a neighbour syphoning from your tank. With the price of premium unleaded anything's possible.

I've heard good things about Blitzkrieg... unfortunately, they're not in a very convenient location.

I should find a day to give them a try though.

A full tank of gas on my avant 1.8 cvt with the wind behind me and on the highway driving like a granny shows a range of 890 km on the display.

Re: Gas mileage

OMG - I wish I could get mileage like that! I'm lucky to break 425km on highways.
And yours is the Avant too... heavier car. If there was a "jealous" smiley, this is where I'd insert it...
