Gorgeous! Those 20" Hartman's look amazing. Take more pictures quick... Winter is a b*tch (see my Thule roof rack post for pictures of what winter can do in 48h)

I think the tint is a must. Lighting definitely makes it challenging to capture the true tone of the Estoril. I love it.

I'm feeling really good about my choice of Hartmann wheels. It's already dirtier than a son of a gun.

Never saw tint as being a must. My old A4 was bought used with front side windows tinted by the previous owner, so I never thought about it. Looking at yours the front tint *now* seems like a must... In Quebec the front side windows must let a minimum of 70% of light go through. Any idea what % your tint is? This was done by the dealer?

Out here in Alberta, any tint on the fronts is an infraction. They don't really enforce it, but I opted to have the dealer do the work. Paid a premium, but running around town in the dead of winter to have it done myself, didn't seem worth the savings to me. I just told them to match the factory tint level on the rears. I think it was their "medium". You'd have to ask an actual installer for more details.

Looks awesome!

Two quick questions for you...did they wrap your 3m around and under the front if the hood or short trim exposing the front edge? I'm assuming glenmore did the detailing, did they offer you opti coat or anything similar?

Thanks

So, is your gauge cluster has the stitching I was speaking about...

I have an edge. They did a great job, though. Glenmore prepped it, but I told them to hold off on the polish/sealant. I plan on using Gtechniq EXO nano-coating on it this weekend.

That SQ5 is stunning especially with this unique and different color!
It seems that most cars come already from the factory with UV protective film on all glass which is equivalent to any 70% aftermarket tint
This means that many enthusiast are against waisting money on nearly clear 70%
The very least would be 50% all around including the back which helps keep the look lighter

I will be applying opti coat after winter
http://www.mtlautodetail.com/opti-coat-pro/

Regarding 3M clear film install or the equivalent I strongly recommend leaving it to a reputable shop since the car's paint should be prepped to perfection before the install...
Again congrats on this sweet sleeper and classy beast!
