I just returned from Glenmore Audi in Calgary. They have taken delivery of my '14 SQ5 in Estoril blue.

I am going with a full hood/fender 3M package including mirrors, rear rockers, and luggage sill. I am also having the front windows tinted to match the rest of the greenhouse. The dealer is installing my Hartmann/Blizzak winter wheels.

I will be picking it up on Friday, the 3rd. Really looking forward to getting it.

In anticipation of its arrival, I have spent some time preparing my garage. Here's some pics of where it will live:

It came equipped with 21" Pirelli P-Zero's. I was anticipating Dunlop's.

Rick, quick question, does your SQ5 has the double stitching on the top of the gauge cluster

 

I'm not sure since I only peeked in it for a second earlier today. I will confirm on Friday when I pick it up.

 

I ordered my SQ5 in November in Estoril blue too. I thought you couldn't get 3m on the mirrors as it wouldn't adhere to the aluminum.

 

That may be true. I was speaking with the girl who takes care of the financing and "packages", not an installer. It's quite possible I am told the same thing. Will have to wait and see.

Congratulations on finally getting it. It's a joy to drive!

 

I got the 3M package as well as it comes highly recommended by several bloggers. Needs professional installation to avoid bubbles and folds. Still looks good but has only been 4 months. I'll check for the mirrors but from memory they 3M'd the mirrors too; they're grey plastic not aluminum.
