Warcity.........did you mean all of 2008 and first half of 2009? If so that would make sense as mine was built June /23/ 2009.

Yeah so basically all 2009 models (some of which would have been manufactured in late 200 and all 2010 models made in 2009 and first half of 2010. Again this is very informal. Bottom line is, if your VIN isn't on that list Audi won't touch it.

I'm first half of 2010, and my dealer told me I'm not on any lists to have parts replaced. Of course, he said there's no recall and that it might be a TSB.

I would think that is not the reality It is not a TSB but a recall. Code 19H1.

There's some info i came across on the water pump replacement program at audizine. I cant post the link but if you search, it will come up. Maybe someone else can post the full link.

It's specifically discusses the S4 but there is some info for all models. It looks like Audi may be terming this a "Campaign".

I picked up the Q5 Jan 2, 2010, which mean it should be a 2009 manufactured date, but my vin # not on the list....

That's good. He mentioned that's typically how it works with the VINs but not all cars fall in that category.

Got my Q5 on march 2010. Last sunday, I was driving on a autoroute in Laval, Quebec and suddenly lost all my coolant. Had been towed to the nearest dealer and they have replaced the water pumb. They told me that my car was not on the recall list and that Transport Canada does not have recall for Q5 ! Strange ! Anyway, now its repair. Had a very good service.

Im sorry to heat this.

What happened to you is worse case scenario. What suprised me was your vin not being on the list that concerns me. Because it's not, they won't replace it unless of course it blows like yours did.

Since this is not safety related they don't consider it a recall. I don't agree with this logic.

Glad it's fixed.

Had the exact same experience fgaucher, 2 weeks ago a few hours before heading to the airport. Luckily was pretty close to my house and the Audi Service number had a flatbed there within 30 mins to tow to dealership. Was also my water pump and like yours was not on the recall list. Thinking that problem may be a bit more wide then initially though. My Q5 was built between Oct 09 and March 10. Service at my dealership is always fantastic (Royal Oak Audi) and used the impromptu service to have my winters thrown on (which they even through in a centering ring that tire rack forgot as they only sent me 3).
