Is that OK for Canada?
Just confirm that they're two different ESNs. If they are, you're lucky (although currently traffic data in Canada is tres limited)

Picked up my Q5 a few weeks ago. Only one ESN. No traffic for 2 weeks, then just 2 days ago was picking up US traffic info. Just today started getting Toronto traffic info. Don't know why nothing for 2 weeks and then suddenly getting traffic.

Sirius is running a 2 weeks trial. Everyone regardless of ESN and model year should be getting it for a few days. They're getting their feed from the US. Toronto info will be very limited.

This is very interesting. My Q5 is certainly receiving traffic information at the moment. More interesting is Sirius's intention for the future. Will we be able to subscribe in Canada (otherwise, why bother with this experiment)? Does anyone have further insight?

Sirius has been doing trials like this for several months very periodically but yet we haven't seen a permenant and proper Canadian traffic plan. I've called them many times and received unclear answers.

I called Sirius a week ago and the person said they don't have traffic and don't know when they will have it. I taught I had 2ESN, it's the same number.

Does anybody have anything new about this traffic saga

Nothing new. Everyone is playing the waiting game at this point.

In this ongoing saga, Sirius Canada has emailed me with (yet another) 2 weeks free trial. I'm assuming that others will have the same promo (especially since they stated that their last free trial was their very last free trial). Hopefully there'll be NAV features for us members to temporarily enjoy.

LOL - I got that email too. I sounded to me though that's is a two week trial of some new audio channels. I'll have to read it again. They sure like to tease.

So traffic works again as part of another 2-week trial. I had tried signing up with Sirius USA a couple of months but they couldn't find the second ESN for traffic on my S4. Contacted Audi Canada but was redirected to call Sirius

My 2010 Q5 had 2 ESNs and I was able to subsribe through Sirius USA in 2009. Sorry to see that what I saw in 2009, as far as traffic info goes, is what we're still getting in 2012 (little stretch of QEW for traffic flow and limited traffic incidents). So much for "Vorsprung durch Technik"... I know it's not directly Audi's fault but disappointed that all that tech is left untapped.
