It is the same site I was using for tracking the FIDELIO (The one the car was supposed to be on).

I think it will make a stop to Belgium (Zeebrugge) and then UK (Southampton)before heading our way.

My dealer confirmed to me tonight the car was on that ship.

He's got all the accessories (side steps, rear seat DVDs, hitch, remote) ready.

Got to call the tire/rim guy to tell him it will be a bit later than plan but he has them and waiting for me.

Dealer told me I should take possession during the week of Jan 10-14.

Is anyone aware if this will delay/impact Q5's that were originally scheduled to be in Halifax on Dec 30 th ?

My dealer told me my Q5 is leaving Germany on the 21 and arriving in Halifax on the 30th

Anyone else waiting for the Dec 30th boat order in mid-August?

 

According to the Wallenius & Welhelmsen logistic schedule, there is only 1 ship leaving Germany (Bremerheaven) around that time and arriving in Halifax around dec 30 and it is the OBERON. If your dealer told you that your car is shipping around that time, I think there is a good probability it is (will be) on that shipment.

The ship is currently near Gothenburg (Sweden) and schedule to arrive tomorrow (dec 17) and leaving the same day for Bremerhaven (Germany) the same day.

It should be in port (Bremerhaven) for 2 days (18-19 Dec) and the cars will be loaded then.

To Zeebrudge (Belgium) , then UK and finally heading to North America

Here's the schedule (subject to change) but so far looks on time or ahead.

I found another ship ( this site wont let me post the url yet)

Its called MARINA ACE leaving Emden dec 21 arriving in Halifax on the 30th

and its for VOLKSWAGEN Logistics found this on another AUDI forum.

 

Quick update: ship is in Bremerhaven, hopefully of dock out today.
Cross fingers that the bad weather in Europe is not affecting the loading ops.

For those who are interested to see what the docks look like:

 

I ordered my Q5 on 17 August and received about a month ago from downtown Audi, I asked my rep in Nov. about delays for other vehicles esp. outside GTA orders, said they have a larger allotment of vehicles than smaller dealers and they receive priority on shipments. I see you're in Guelph so that is probably the issue.....if you ordered in Toronto you would have your Q5 already.

 

There is no Audi dealer in Guelph, I ordered from Audi of Mississauga...

 

Mississauga still has smaller allotment than downtown Audi, they take priority...what did your dealer tell you or is there something unique about your order?

 

Dealer gave a 3 month delivery time when I ordered. Which would have been Nov. 15th.
I am not sure if I have something unique or not. I ordered a 3.2L, with Nav, S-Line, B&O, and Drive Select.

I don't just want it, I NEED it. I didn't even think about planning for this long of a wait for delivery...

It better be on the Oberon!
