yeah, I don't like the road course (in my own car) for that reason.
Also road coursing your car is a lot tougher on it than accelerating from a stop to 110 mph, then slowing down over 400metres. Dragstrip is fine with me for my car. It's pretty fun, but more importantly allows you to put a very real measuring stick on the mods you've made to your car, and you can then share that info with the community.
Road course? It's not ideal to take a 4 door 4000lb sedan with 61:39 weight distribution out there, but to each his own. I'd be more interested in renting a GT3...or driving Audi's cars at an Audi experience day. I've done a few road course days, but always in other people's (more suitable) cars.

Ya I'm in. It should be close. It will have to wait until I have my summer tires on. Therefore mid April or so.
I should run 13.4 @ 106 mph. I guess it will depend on your start.

Oooh keep me posted (I get updates from this thread by email). I've never done a 1/4 mile but would be willing to have a go in my S4 Avant! It would probably be combined with a trip to Ikea so may be a little heavy 
I just want to see this battle TBH and see what I can beat loaded with a bedroom's worth of flatpack furniture... Maybe I can get a Thule roofbox as well for extra jokes.
I already think the B6 is winner because Audi didn't bring the B8 over to Canada as a wagon.
(S4 Avant < A4 < Models < Audi UK).

just a bump, we will also be going sometime in early april, to one of the test and tunes at Cayuga. I know seinsmeld wants to go, as do a couple of the other S4 guys in the area.

Any news on this showdown? I'm free this weekend and it seems they're both open Sat and Sun. The best camera I can offer is a Kodak ZX3. Still waiting for my GoPro from the GB on EA
