I know Im late to the party but I agree with anything bad said about OWASCO. Have gone their 2x once to replace wiper motor, so they gave me a rental for the day then said they weren't replacing it (we all know why that is) then asked me to pay for the rental til I bitched and only had to pay half of the rental. But the kicker was that they said that it wasn't safe to drive due to the rain and let me go as a thunderstorm was passing thru and said they will not touch my wiper motor I'd have to go somewhere else. 2nd time was for warranty that they weasled their way out of so I just took it to Dalmar(London) and had no issues.

Has anyone been to H2Sport recently?. I only go there for major stuff cause they are pretty far away from toronto to get to. Anyway, got my front brakes done there a 2 months ago on my 2001 s4, (all oem) and I've got the crazy high pitched squeal (like a banshee) under very light braking- like embarassingly loud - like I time my braking with trucks so that no one suspects its me ...tried bedding the brakes (in reverse too) etc - no effect, and left h2sport a few voice mails to bring the car in over the past two weeks (no one seems to every pick up) but they have not returned my calls. Any ideas?

I just stumbled upon this forum while searching bad experience with Audi - and thought I'd share mine.

Had a rather shitty experience with Audi Oakville!

Any other members have a good experience there?

Crazy stuff, guys! I don't understand the arrogance of the dealers and why they do this.

Nobody will be crying for them when the economy takes another hit. @ $120 labour rate, you'd think a patient and rational customer would be treated with more respect and understanding!

(UNLESS YOU HAVE A NEW CAR UNDER WARRANTY) I suggest find an independant garage that specializes in Audi/VW. Most of them are ex techs who know their stuff, have the latest and will help you save money.

Hi all,
I also am in desperate need of an honest, reliable mechanic for my A4, in the Toronto area so this helped! I've had it "fixed" 5 times now...

Audi Oakville is okay but they really charge. My last Audi I brought it in and they just went ahead and fixed it without telling me what was wrong. On the other hand they got me spare parts once and didn't charge all that much. Depends on who you get. The old German guy was good, but difficult to talk to.

I have an appointment coming up, I will report back with my experience. This will be the first time I deal with them.

Also wold like to give a thumbs up for Crosby audi in Kitchener. I drove there with no appointment when I got my car, and asked them to check it out. They did at no cost. Put it all under warranty. That's good service.

Scott's car care in Milton should be avoided like the plague.

As for Pfaff having a bad reputation...the only thing I have heard is that they are ridiculously overpriced.
They have a lot of things for Audi, so you could go shopping there but then buy it somewhere else or take parts to be installed somewhere else. Sometimes they are almost double the price than other places.

I'll second Crosby Audi. I have been going there for about 2 and a half years -- good service and fair prices.
