For the most part, communist governments can be bought. Not saying I can afford to bribe a world power, but there are people out there that can.
Although Fidel Castro (and Hugo Chavez for that matter) have such popular support amongst large portions of their population (you won't hear about it so much in western media), is because they are not THAT crooked. Sure they skim a little off the top every once in a while, but they are not greedy disasters like Romania's Nikolai Chauchescu.
That being said, with Castro gone, there's no telling what $ figure will purchase his brother, however if cracks start to show, there'll be no better time to line yourself up to take advantage of Cuba's future free market economy. And what better way than to over price rentals on Audi vehicles to the influx of American Tourists which are sure to flood Havana if the new government falls.
