When your fuel hits 83p a litre, like it is here in the UK at the moment,
then you can complain
It costs to fill up a normal Family saloon around 40-50£ thats $70-$80.
imagine going to fill up you car and instead of it costing you 20 bucks max,
it costs 4 x as much....
Ronny
So UK 1 gall fuel = £4.00 US 1 Gall = $1.69
1 UK £ = 1.6 US $, you do the math's

Re: Fuel prices aren't dropping
Regina, Saskatchewan Canada
Gasoline here is currently $0.74/litre. It's been as low as $0.64/litre a
few months ago
and as high as $.084/litre two years ago. Overall the price has been very
steady in the
past few years. These prices are for 87 octance gas. Add $0.10/litre for
premium 91 octane.
A very large portion of our gasoline pricing is taxes. Perhaps as much as
%50.
I'm very happy with the fuel economy of my RSX-S.

hmmm..................
I though 160 onces / 128 onces = 1.25
and 128 onces / 160 onces = 0.80
I though the onces were the same no matter
imperial or US

Re: Fuel prices aren't dropping
Also, 160 ounces minus 128 ounces = 32 ounces, 32 ounces = 1 quart,
therefore, like I said, the Imperial gallon is larger than the US gallon
(5qts vs 4qts)

I don't know where you got the 160 oz figure. The 1.20095 figure I
quoted is from the NYC Public Library Desk Reference. If an Imperial
Gallon were 5 quarts that figure would be 1.25 US gallons to an
Imperial.

Re: Fuel prices aren't dropping
The situation is getting close here in the UK.....those on national medical,
when they go to see a doc get told take a couple of paraceptomol 4 times a
day. That's now the extent of our doctor training. At least when you pay you
expect more than that and if you dont get it you can complain.
Plus you are not going to the docs every week, I hope, so the comparison is
irrelevant. Most here are filling up at least once per week at £45 a time.
