Hey there you guys just bought my first Audi ever. Its a 2006 Audi A4 2.0 and since it has no HID kit I was wondering I was going to buy one so my question is what size is the bulb? Secondly will an aftermarket set cause a dash error with the new HID? Also what is the bulb size for the fog lights? Any good brands that you guys would recomenend?

The headlight bulb size for the B7 A4, non-HID light is H7.

VVME.com is a good aftermarket distributor for HID setups (bulbs, ballast, wiring), but not the headlight housings. For that I do not know. Very affordable too, I paid $100 CAD, shipped and everything. Installation is pretty simple, everything is plug-n-play. The only difficulty is finding a place to mount the ballasts.

So far I have not received any check engine light (CEL) with these lights.

Bulb size for the fogs are H11.
