In order to minimize delays in production and customer delivery, the following
actions will be taken:
1. Effective immediately, the S-line package (option code: PQX) is closed for ordering.
2. The S-line package will automatically be cancelled on current non-sold Q5 orders in
factory order bank bearing an “Actual Production Week” later than 05/2011.
3. All customer sold orders with S-line package already in factory order bank are not
affected.

:mad: S-Line package cancelled by Audi Canada :mad:
I was just told by my dealer today that I am one of the unlucky one who’s S-Line package is cancelled by Audi Canada. My problem is that I placed the order on November 15, 2010. It’s not fair for them to do that. S-Line package was one of the reasons I purchased Q5. Can they really do that?
I don’t really like any other truck but Q5 and the one I like is Cayenne but its very expensive.
At lease will be calling Audi Canada (905-428-6700) to complain but not sure what they will do for me. If any one of you have same problem then I suggest you do the same and hope fully once they get more complains about it they might not cancel the order allrady has been placed.
I would understand that they stop selling the S-Line package immediately but to cancel S-_Line that is already sold for almost/over 2months it’s not fair.
Any suggestion from form experts? I am not sure what to do any more.

I think this issue might turn out to be a bit of a public relations nightmare. Too bad as things have been going along very nicely for the brand.

My problem is why cancel the order when its already sold you know what i mean? I understand they stop taking new orders with Sline.

or is my dealer giving me the wrong information to me? I was in the impression that my order will not be affected by this but Audi Uptown is telling me it will be. Are they doing this to me because i got some was batter deal?

sucks dude. very aggravatingly frustrating to be so close to getting the S-line only to have it taken away from you. Don't know what the dealership or Audi Canada can do for you. They'll probably hide behind the corporate decision and explain that they can't do anything about it. As well, they may explain that your contract allows you to get back your down payment if they're unable to deliver the S-line to you within the timeframe specified in that contract.
I imagine that if you demonstrate significant hardship (e.g. S-line for business startup or "lifetime" trip planned with S-line, etc...) they might step-up with their customer service and offer you employee pricing (2 or 3%? off invoice) should you decide to purchase a different Audi.

Just my opinion, -why don't you try and source for the parts needed and build the S-Line kit yourself?
All it really is are bigger wheels, different bumpers, and different leather texture on steering wheel / shifter..
I passed on the S-line , but did however buy S-line wheels from a local distributor at a very good price. I find the wheels are what makes the major difference, -all else is appearance.

man, that really sucks! I would be extremely upset with Audi if I stuck in that situation. Only last option is to call audi canada directly and complain. You never know, sometimes they can to magic.
