There is a message that mainly due to low 20" wheels supply, Audi Canada cancels S-line package orders effective immediately. Is that a rumor or fact? Anyone?

Not for anyone with an order in the system. No new s-line orders until they catch up. Post was on another forum.

Yes it's true. All dealers got the message on the morning of the seventh and the letter was dated the sixth. I'm in the process of getting a Q5 and can no longer get the s-line package which is a deal breaker with my husband. I have three dealerships trying to find a solution for me. I'm pissed. They're not happy because they loose a 70K deal. Audi should have warned them first. I would have put my order last week instead of this week. It's really not fair that we got no warning.

 

I'm going to have to wait a few more months... Some think that the s-line package will re-open in a few months. I just hope that I'm not forced to purchase a 2012. I got a great deal for our 2011.

 

There has to be really no other option for Audi when they take it off the table. They surly realize that they will lose money as potential clients will turn elsewhere. Tough call.
Is it just in Canada? What about US, Europe? Afrates, can you comment?

Just spoke to me vendor and he confirmed they have received my Q5 last Friday.

At the same time, he said they have a TBD (unconfirmed delivery) for the Q5 S-line due to shortage.
