Default Negotiating new Q7

Hello, I'm new here and I'm thinking of purchasing a Q7, 2014.

Just wondering if any of you were able to negotiate a decent price, below MRSP with the dealerships and if any had any recommendations.

Thanks for any help

I got $2000 off the sticker but that was back in '09. Are you sure you want the '14? The 2015 is a new model. Much lighter.

Here in AB, it's not likely to get a deal, but good luck to you out there. It can't hurt to try.

Hello, thanks for the reply.

To be honest, I prefer a heavier vehicle as odd as that may sound. And getting close to 30 mpg compared to my current Sequoia would be a God sent. Besides, I need one ASAP because I'm going to e travelling from NB to NS more frequently, since the kids are either living or studying there.

Understandable.

I would use the fact that the '14 is an outgoing model and see if you can get a few grand off MSRP. The rest just comes down to your personal negotiation skills and the willingness of the dealer to work with you. There's a massive demand for Audi's in Calgary, so that tips the scales in favour of the dealer, but perhaps the situation is different in NB? Good luck.

Great news! Negotiated a Q7 technik, white ,(man does it ever look good in white!)0
air suspension, corner cameras, sky and seats for $3000 below MRSP in Moncton. Also got the $1500 special and 3.9% interest.
And I kept my 2008 Sequoia Platinum because everybody was low-balling it a bit much.

I would highly recommend the dealer in Moncton. Ask for Mr. Patterson. Probably the best buying experience ever. He's going to try to grab one in transit or order it from Germany. I any case, I don't mind waiting.

Congratulations. I hope you hit your 30mpg goal. I know I wasn't even close with my '09 3.6 Q7. Not. even. close.

I think the 2014 has better mileage than the 09, correct me I I'm wrong.
OTOH, it will be strictly highway miles and even if I get 15 mpg, it will sure bat my current Sequoia Platinum by a wide margin..

Yeah, the move from the 3.6 to the 3.0T did boost the gas mileage a bit. I never really did much highway driving with our old Q7.

So, did you order one or did they actually find you one? What's the ETA?

Obviously I meant 25 mpg and not 15.
Not sure about ETA. Contracts signed, down payment paid. Could get it in a few days, weeks but no longer than 3 months. All depending if they can ****** one in transit, according to salesperson.

Just got some news from the dealer. No available cars in transit at this moment. So it will have to be ordered from the factory. ETA middle of January. Patience is a virtue.

Late Christmas gift LOL.
