We just purchased a 2013 Q5 with less than 20 k on it. We were thinking about adding the extended warranty or maintenance plan , but only have a couple of days to do so because of the in service date .

Should I or shouldn't I ? We only put on about 15 k a year.

I always buy and view it to be like an insurance policy. It's there if you need it and won't regret it if you do.

Hey Maverick, how much was your extended warranty? I'm looking at getting one too. About to buy a 2013 A3 Quattro with 70k km. Dealer offered my a 5 year / 100k km plan through SAL which will cost $6500 (+ $100 deductible). Seems pretty steep but I guess it would be good peace of mind.

 

I was still under factory warranty when I got mine. About $3000 . 4 year/80,000 k Makes a difference .
