What does and Upsolute Tune go for on a 2006 A4 2.0T Quattro?

$550 + tax installed. Although our HP/TQ claims are lower than our competitors, actual street application says otherwise...

The UPsolute file for the 2.7T is not the most aggressive file compared to our competitors. It is a relatively mild tune. We have chipped quite a few earlier 2.7Ts and so far I haven't heard of any issues from our customers.

I got to disagree with you. There are lots of MY 00 and 01s that have 100K+ km on them chipped and stock with not a peep from the turbos.

You do a disservice to all Audi owners by making comments like that especially folks with the 2.7T engine.
My S4 has a build date of 07/99 with 90,000km on the clock It still runs fine. What do you consider not lasting very long?

I suspect most the guys who have blown turbos drove them hard and talked loudly about it, which contribute to this feeling people have about the 2.7T engine.

I'm going to have to man up and take my comment back .

I spoke with the person who did blow one of his turbo, when his car was fully stock (60,000km), a few days ago and I came to realize that he didn't properly cool down the car after giving it a good beating. Shutting off the car when the turbo/exhaust manifold area is cherry hot is not a good idea.

I just got my GIAC 91 Octane performance software loaded on my car and it feels like a totally different car. So much more torque!
