I join this forum to learn about Audi cars like A4 & Q5 starting from 2017
I am very hungry for Diesel
Gas engines are nice cute and run like a vacuum cleaners * I want Diesel.
All life with Mercedes Cars and now I discovered VW family Diesels are the best on the world.
Mercedes going after BMW in line engines like gas & Diesel.
VW 4 cyl Diesel engines in Europe become first choice for buying used car.
The longest life span for those diesels where Joe owner many times forgetting change engine oil or using very cheap engine oils.
My second choice at this time is Porsche Macan Diesel.

You might have a long wait for any new VAG diesels in Canada. They're still under investigations with more cheat devices being found recently.
Hopefully all the dieselgate issues will be over soon and we'll know the direction VAG will take shortly thereafter.
The new A4 is a beautiful car, it's wonderful to drive and super smooth (tranny and suspension). A new Q5 is expected in the near future.

Mercedes stop selling diesels powered cars
BMW Jaguar Land Rover Chevrolet using same software and no problem
VW very progressive and very fast growing company for that reason get hit and very hard.
Politics main problem.
A4 I like and looks to me much better from Mercedes C Class and BMW 3 series

I believe very strongly
VW need to use more brain to read American auto industry problem
General motors going after German technology
Cadillac become used high tech laser welding and no Diesel engines
Those powerful 4 cyl gas engines from Mercedes or BMW
VW need to give to them one of V6 Diesel and all problems be gone for ever.
