could somebody give more information about the modifications required for the tt 2008. I'll be driving from US at the end of the month. Could i get the modifications done in canadian tire, since they are the ones that do the inspection.

Thanks

Most Cdn Tire stores do not do bodywork (bumper mods) or daytime running lights. Ask some of our members in your area for referrals on good bodyshops.

Hey Jazz, I'm not sure who you're asking ...I purchased from Illinois and did not pay their state tax, but did pay 6% duty, provincial tax and gst. There are other smaller costs in importing (RIV and cross border importation fee). Fees at border were aprox $275 and $195 plus GST for RIV. Hope this helps

On the new TT it's just the front bumper. There's 4 or 5 parts involved.

Maybe you want to wait a bit though?

Hi, I am about to import my TT from the states, and was told that the Cnd bumper was not necessary when importing into Alberta, just wanted to see if you had to put yours on before RIV would let you register it.
