Re: TT importation _ question re bumpers
Hi can someone list the "6 parts" needing replacement on the Audi TTs? It no doubt includes the bumpers but what else. Also, how is it possible for one TT owner to buy the new CDN bumpers, have the receipt faxed to the RIV for certification, then remove them and put the US bumpers back on so you can sell the (I assume unpainted) new CDN bumpers to the next guy who needs them for his Audi TT. Wouldn't the next guy also require the receipt, or does the receipt go with the sale of the CDN bumpers??? We've got to stick together on this one guys so if anyone can help me with some info please do. Email: fdunphy@interchange.ubc.ca and if there is anyone in the Vancouver area looking to unload some CDN bumpers for an '03 TT roadster feel free to email!

Re: TT importation _ question re bumpers
For anyone that is needing them I have a set of front and back unpainted Canadian bumpers (covers and buttress supports). If interested respond to spielraum_design@yahoo.ca or post here. $2200 takes it.

Re: TT importation _ question re bumpers
Ya so as i said before i went to the audi dealers and i thought that they were the only guys that could do the work (or so they initially told me). after some deliberation i got it out of them that you could buy the needed parts from them and then take the parts to your shop and then get them installed then take it back to audi to inspect the work. the'll give you a document approving it.. then you send a copy of the reciept for the parts from an authorized dealer, the inspection and the riv info (send this to the riv guys... call them) then they send you back a form that lets you register it. let me know if you want the parts im selling mine. i can give you the audi dealership reciept which is what you need to ceritfy the car..dunno bout these other guys selling parts but there it is... msg me for a price
