turning off sprayer on head lights
Does anyone have an idea how to switch off he mister/sprayer for the head lights on a 2012 S4?
im just getting tired of on of the mechanisms always not returning properly into th car and always have to get out and do it manuelly... dont want to be driving around with one mister sticking out all the time..
Or if anyone knows how to fix this problem.. would be much appriciated.. its always the passenger side
thanks

It's supposed to be lightly spring loaded and the water pressure over comes that spring. Check you don't have something obstructing the mechanism. As a 2012, would have thought this would still be covered under warranty.

Using the VCDS software you can adjust the length of time it sprays and the number of wiper washer activations between sprays. Don't know if you can adjust length of time to zero. Check the Audi enthusiasts web site. I don't have enough seniority to post a link.

On my 2007 RS4, both sprayer's are working perfectly and I live where we commonly have several feet of snow at any given time during winter season - all this to say, it's a very solid piece of technology that works great + you're still under warranty. Don't turn them off - get 'em fixed!

You can easily shut them off with reprogramming, but why? The car is still under warranty I would just get the dealer to fix it. Not only will you pass the issue to someone else once its out of warranty why not just take it in and get it looked at?
