Hello,

purchased an 2012 A3 TDI two weeks ago and I'm new to the Audi. Love the car but still trying to figure out all the functions in the car, hopefully you guys can help. Im such a noob so please let me know if this topic already has been discussed.


I understand Audi does not allow streaming music off your phone on bluetooth. I came across this post regarding a work around:

The post had advised to get an 'Aux Audi AMI cable;' which plugs into the glove box of the car, I then can connect any bluetooth receiver, which then connects to my phone.

Now I checked my glove box and there is not AMI cable connection slot? What em I missing here cause I looked everywhere in the car, nothing? Amazon is selling that cable which supports A3,

Are the latest Audi A3 do not support this cable?

The Aux AMI port is a factory option build. You could try contacting your dealer to see what the cost would be to install everything...how ever I have a feeling that may get quite expensive! May be worth it to see what the after-market world has to offer.

Do you know any place i can purchase an aftermarket of that component ?

Any shops thats good for audi aftermarket goods

no luck. spoke to my dealer. apparently they don't do that. any thoughts?
