mk 1 TT wheels, unfortunately, are 5x100. I was sold some once for snows on my old Avant. Didn't realize that they were the one car that Audi made with 5x100 bolt pattern vs the 18 other setups that are 5x112.

Those look similar to the Avus S4 wheels...love those 18" ones on the B6 S4. The TT wheels look most similar to the B6 A4 Avant wheels, 17". Another good winter alternative.

Whenever I purchase wheels, I check the bolt pattern and offset that the car needs to ensure purchasing wheels that fit. This info is usually stamped on the backside of the rim or inside the hub.

The OE B7 S4 wheels have strong similarity to root design based on one of the previous OE B5 A4 wheels, as always with Audi there is strong history and evolution that we all appreciate!

The nice thing about OE 17's is that they are typically lighter than OE 18's and esp 19's which minimizes the weight of the outer diameter and creates less rotational mass to ensure max performance.

Winter is coming and rim changeover needed soon... here is one of mine on OE 17" rims with super soft and sticky Blizzak MZ-01's

what A4 wheels are you referring to? There were 5 different OE rims for B7 S4 cars, all very unique.

2005.5 to 2008 offered...
2005.5 Avus 6 spoke
2006 BBS CH
2006 RS6 style 18" 5 spoke
2007-2008 7 double spoke (like mine - click gallery)
2007-2008 7 twin spoke (18"RS4 style)

all were 235/40 18 and I think were 42-45 offset

p.s.

jesus...just noticed that's in your (or someone's) garage. All the power to you...I can't say I'd ever be comfortable with lifting $60,000 4 feet off the ground!

Are you kidding?! A good scissor lift like that is the T*I*T*S! A buddy of mine does stone guarding at his shop here in town. Whenever he isn't using the scissor lift I LOVE getting my car on it! So much easier to perform even the smallest tasks like waxing your wheels or detailing your car. If I wasn't in the middle of looking for a new home I'd totally be putting one in my garage!

I'm content to leave that to the service professionals. I'd end up running myself over!
