Show Off Your Snows! Post pics w/ Winters on

Re: Show Off Your Snows! Post pics w/ Winters on
The RS4 looks fantastic with those 19" OEM 7 twin spoke wheels. Don't change those for summer...just live with the rash or refinish them. Keeping that car's appearance 100% stock is perfect...such a cool car as is.
For winters, what are the Hartmanns? Are they B7 RS4 reps? VMR makes amazing B7 RS4 reps and 18" would fit nicely. Not sure the offset though.

Not sure if you knew this, but the text displayed in red in my posts are actually linked to other web pages. If you click on Hartmann RS4 - DTM 18" reps (here or in my original post) you can see the wheels. I've looked long and hard and there's very few options for decent wheels that fit over the 14.4" rotors and large 8 piston calipers. Audi doesn't even offer an 18" winter option for the car. VMR only offers wheels width/offset combinations that will work for the A4/S4.
Since I need to spend over $200 per wheels for winters, I naturally started thinking about putting that money into summer wheels. My favourite so far is the Work Varianza T1S. Here's another pic.

Wow...didn't understand that about the offset. I actually started a thread about that because I was so clueless!
As for the OEM wheels vs those aftermarket ones that look similar (work wheels), I'd stick OEM...otherwise the car starts to look too blingy. Plus if you stay stock, you won't ever be mistaken for an uppety A4 driver with an S line package and aftermarket rims!
There's a guy on Audiworld who was selling a set of OEM RS4 rims with winters on them. I spoke with him about them...he bought them from the dealer as a second set! Pricey option. The same guy gave away his stock exhaust system on Audiworld after modding his car.

Thanks for the input, Sakimano. I love the OEM wheels as well. That's why I am so on the fence about this.

I'm not a dealer. An opportunity came up for an RS4 and my dealer had a buyer for the TT. So I got to drive a new TT for 3 months without much loss and then got into the RS4 that I was looking for.

Here's a handy little link to give you a rough idea of how different offsets and wheel widths will work for you: Wheel Offset Calculator

I just checked...unfortunately they've been sold. Not that link you referenced.... This was literally the perfect original equipment RS4 wheels with winters on them. He ordered a second set for his B7 RS4

just get some winter tires to fit the OEM wheels and have a shop do a tire swap for you
then, take your time and find another set of OEM RS4 wheels on here, audizine.com, audiworld.com or ebay. That'll give you 8 OEM RS4 wheels. Use the best 4, and save the rashiest 4 for winter.
This is what I'm doing with my S4. I haven't found anything perfect, so for this winter, I'm buying a used set of winter tires that will fit on my OEM stock wheels. This gives me the time to be patient and get what I want.
