I thought I'd just ask a question on this thread... basically my car will be going in for a repair next month... and I was just wondering: I'm 18yrs of age and a secondary driver of the policy. Most rental car companies won't rent a car to anyone under 19yrs of age... but if my mom DID rent a car will I be allowed to drive it? (From an insurance company perspective it doesn't seem like a problem but I wonder what kind of issues I'll have with the rental company)

Just called the ins.co.... they still haven't received a statement from the other driver but proceeded with "not at fault" on my side and "100% at fault" for the other driver. The pictures I've sent them must've really helped!! thanks for everyone who commented on this thread! now I can go and get the car fixed 
only problem, with the winter and tons of collision, I have to wait till mid February
