I'm a new owner of a B6 S4. I've been coming across a lot of threads on AZ about people rolling their fenders for aggressive fitment of wheels. However, I've read something about the fenders on the B6s already come rolled from the factory and that appears to be the case with my car. The inside rear fender looks like this || (folded) rather than like this |__ (at a 90 degree angle).

Are the members on AZ referring to a fender pull as opposed to a fender roll?

Are the rear fenders on our S4 already rolled/folded from the factory or did the previous owner roll the fenders? I bought my car from the dealer so I don't know the "mod" history of my car though my car appears stock when I bought it.

The rear fenders on all all the b5's and later (98+) that I've seen are as you describe (no inner lip). I don't think they're "rolled" technically as the car comes that way.

The front fenders however, usually have that inner lip that holds the front fender guard/wheel well whatever you want to call it in place.

That front "lip" by the way...keep an eye on it because that's where your paint will start flaking away first (usually).
