I'm heading down to T.dot next week for a seminar/training so I might try to find a 4 and 6 at a stealership so I can get a good feel for size and interior.
Imola yellow Allroad......now that would be something.

Don't think an S4 is rated to tow 3000+lbs so probably need to take that off your list.

According to Westfalia Automotive it will tow 4400lbs, with a tongue wight of 200lbs.

They don't offer a hitch for it, but they did at one time with those capacities. So, I'm fairly sure I can engineer a hitch for it (being an engineer) that will work.

If only we had a structural we be all set... meh who am I kidding, who really needs a structural engineer. Mech here, so together I'm sure we can make a good hitch and wire it up on an S4

I'm trying to line up a dealer or used car lot or anything near Richmond Hill that has both a B6 A4 and a C5 A6, I'm not going to even try for find an Allroad. Anybody in that area have any tips?

At least there is two of us who know that you can't push a rope.

Can't help you with the Richmond Hill request. Sorry

Late in the game I know, but why did you take the allroad off the list of candidates. In my opinion it is a fantastic crossover UTE vehicle. I have several friends driving them, and loving every minute of it, the air suspension, while problematic on older models is a thing of beauty.

I'm not taking it off on my list of potentials, I'm jut not going to try to find one while I'm in Toronto to look at. It's still very much in the running.
