To answer your question, YES it does, it also is the only TIP chip which will eliminate the embedded cap placed on available torque. I know the gear hunting of which you speak, usually under low to med load conditions. Most prevalent when the tranny is still cold. VAST chip should resolve the issue. Contact GiGi on audiforums.com or audizine.com for more info on the stage 3 TIP chip from VAST. He swears by it.

Well I took delivery of this car tonight! And for anyone still curious I went with the tip! I couldn't turn down that good of a deal.
