I just proved to myself that 20psi from my stage 3- will eventually tear a giant gash in the stock throttle body boot, In case anyone is wondering what the symptoms are. They are just like this Saturday peaking and holding near 20psi, Sunday peak at 20psi and then car nosedives as boost and throttle cut. Comes back on at 15psi, then dives some more, usually stable at under 10psi. i turned down the MBC Tuesday and did a boost leak test tonight, giant tear in the TBB, wont hold 2 psi. this issue progressively got worse DUH Obviously. Anyways, new upgraded boot on order, i will install on Friday. Thanks to Jordan and VAST performance, great ser vice and knowledge.

 

I have to say, working with Mike and Price at vast made going to rs4 turbos a good expieriece, theyre knowlege and service is amazing. I'll be heading down there as soon as i get my bearing fixed so i can tune my car. good choice.

 

Yeah were lucky enough to have a local rep for VAST, I cooked a fuel pump on a Wednesday, Ordered a new one on Thursday and had it installed by Friday at 3pm. Not bad considering I am in Calgary. All that said, my business has been and will be going to vast. When I go full stage 3 with fueling I will be using VAST's setup and having our local rep do the custom tuning.
