Hi so I have an A6 2.7T with the tiptronic. I hade
a new engine put in the car and now my car wont
go into gear. It wont grab any gear at all. A friend
put the motor in for me. I hade to get a new motor
because I broke the up and lower oil pan. Any way
wanted to see if any one could help me the car was
working with the old motor. I have been told it may
be the trans computer. Any help would be grate.

how about the tip shift linkage, did you guys make sure to hook it up and test it. If you aren't sure what I mean, it is the box above the driveshaft, the one that has the orange shift cable running into it, the cable that pins to the shifter
