Default Chenged battery in 04 b6 S4 now emergency flashers wont turn off.

Hello I recently purchased a 2004 S4 and due to unforeseen circumstances had it parked for the winter. Forgot to plug it in went out of town during a cold snap and froze the battery, realizing the awkward job the battery change would be in a Yukon winter and the fact I had other winter transport I let it sit. Now snow has finally gone and we have seen double digit temps I go out buy the new battery change it and my emergency flashers go off along with what sounds like a backup alarm. When I push the flashers button it just changes the speed they flash. I have no local Audi/VW dealerships and only 2 local "VW specialists". So before having to call them which I'd rather not do I am asking if anyone here has ever dealt with this problem and knows how to fix it.

****UPDATE****
Problem seems to be fixed emergency flashers seemed to go off by locking/unlocking the door and the backup alarm sound seemed to be coming from the back of the car around the bose stereo stuff seemed to stop as the stereo was turned on for a minute.
