Default Rear wiper fluid spray...

I'm unsure if this is standard or whether my rear wiper spray is faulty. When I spray washer fluid to clean the rear window it sprays 1/3rd to 1 half the height of the wiper blade. I would expect the spray to cover the full height of the wiper blade. Does this make sense? I feel that I need to spray "a lot" to fully clean the rear window. Are other Q5/SQ5s similar or does mine have any issue?

Awesome thank you!
Interesting how there seems to be some detailed SOP on almost every aspect of the car.

So I looked further thanks to Spijun's chart. There are 2 sprays but its hard to tell as spray #1 hits 2" and spray #2 hits 3-4" from the base (bottom) of the wiper. Basically only the bottom third and a bit of the middle third, instead of the top 2 thirds. I'm taking it in for hitch installation next week and asked that they fix this at the same time (under warranty).

Dex let us know what brand of hitch you get and how the install went please.

The hitch is already ordered. I opted for the original Audi model so it 1) has the "Audi electrical connection plug" that alters the SUVs behavior when connected to a trailer, and 2) comes out through the back panel specifically made to make it the least noticeable possible. There are several threads here and elsewhere including one I started 1-2 months ago on this forum to decide which way to go and get the cleanest look. I'll post pictures and experience with dealer after Tuesday when done.

Hi Don I'm not sure how to redirect but just posted experience/pictures on the thread "hitch and rear bike rack on SQ5/Q5"

So to continue with the washer fluid spray, they simply "compared it to another" and found it to be similar. To be honest I tried out the spray on the loaner Q5 they lent me (was new with 240km on it) and it was no better. Either they have a series of duds or they diminished their standards? Still think it would benefit from a bit more pressure.
